HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Just a quick post for all of you Mad Hatters out there. We hope to see lots of you at the club night tonight and hopefully there will be lots of entries in the monthly challenge. I have posted the next six templates for the next few months so that you can all get a head-start on them. Remember, you can do any kind of project you like following the sketch.

Next month is our club 2nd Birthday. It is hard to believe that two years have just flown by so quickly. We will be announcing what are plans are for the night in the next week or so. We hope that as many members as possible show up, old and new.

New Challenges for Members

Hi everyone, it has been a long time since we posted anything, we hope to do better from now on.
We have decided to set a challenge for club members each month. The challenge will be in the form of a sketch which can interpreted using any medium and in any style you like, e.g. cards, scrapbook pages, stitching etc. The only limit is your imagination. Club co-ordinators, Karen, Betty, Margaret and Elaine will show some examples in the preceding month. The first sketch (shown below) will be given to members at our  August meeting for the September Challenge.
Our next meeting is on 4th August next and we look forward to seeing as many of our old and hopefully some new faces on the night.

Happy New Year!!

Well it is 2010 already. Time flies when you're crafting. Have you noticed that too? You sit down to do something and next thing you know someone is wondering where their dinner is, or why you have forgotten to pick up the kids!

Unfortunately we will not be holding our meeting this month, due to the continuing bad weather. The roads are still pretty hairy and we don't want anyone travelling when it's not necessary.

We will be back in February on the first Wednesday.

Don't forget our challenge for this month is to reuse or re-purpose some of the leftover Christmas wrapping paper or decorations!! We are looking forward to seeing all of your great work in February.
